I had the pleasure of working with Monica as a vendor last year at a beautiful wedding at the Villa San Juliet winery! From a fellow vendor standpoint she was absolutely amazing, and really facilitated a seamless timeline! When you work weddings, as your primary source of income, you appreciate all the hard work, and how other vendors influence your day, Monica was amazing! You will not be disappointed! She was well organized, efficient, and an absolute pleasure!
We could not have asked for a better wedding planner than Monica. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Monica went above and beyond the scope of wedding planning duties. She was in constant contact with us throughout the process and ensured we were on schedule with vendors. She also joined most of the calls and often followed up on our behalf. We met several times at the venue or offsite to go over details of our big day, and she even made a house visit to help bring decorations to the venue. She spent the entire day prior to the wedding organizing and installing all of the decor we rented or purchased.
On the day of the wedding, Monica made sure that everything ran smoothly. As a bride, you want to focus on being present and enjoying every bit of your day. I was able to do that largely because of Monica. She was the point of contact for our vendors, ensuring they knew when to arrive and what to do once they did. Not only did she take care of the typical wedding day checklist, but she also attended to me and my attire the whole day. Monica pinned up my dress when we noticed it catching on my heels, helped with my various shoe changes throughout the night, and put my mind at ease more than once! The next day we had to go back to the venue to clean and pack up a bit; when we arrived, Monica had already gathered everything into one spot so we could easily pack up our car.
We planned our wedding in a little under a year, moving across the country during the process. We wouldn't have been able to do that without Monica. She was flexible with our evolving thoughts, available anytime we needed her, creative with our wild and partially-formed ideas, and always such a pleasure to work with. We feel so thankful that Monica was a part of our team!
Monica is a literal super human angel! We hired Monica for month of coordination services and it was the best decision we ever made! Everyone warned us to be prepared for things to go wrong on your wedding day, but thanks to Monica, nothing went wrong, and we had the most perfect stress free wedding! She checked in with us throughout the year and made sure we were moving along and had all of our bases covered. When the month of came, she was available and super responsive to all of our questions and concerns. She reached out to all of our vendors to make sure they were all on the same page. When it came to wedding weekend, she was phenomenal! Everyone in our families and wedding party kept commenting on how wonderful and helpful she was. Every event we had planned went according to plan, and ahead of schedule in some cases! It was really great getting to sit back and actually enjoy our wedding day. If you are considering hiring a coordinator - do it, and make sure you hire Monica!
We were just married 6/18/22 with Monica’s amazing help. We are not from the area so we relied on her a lot! Monica was extremely attentive and helped to facilitate communication with our vendors. She brought our overall vision to life and and I felt more than comfortable trusting her to make decisions for me, especially when the wedding fatigue kicked in and I just couldn’t make another decision! Monica took care of everything for us the day of and our friends and family absolutely loved her way of organizing everyone and everything during the busy day. Overall, our wedding day was not stressful and so much fun because of Monica! She is worth EVERY penny and more!!! I couldn’t imagine the planning and the day without her!
Monica was a phenomenal wedding coordinator! I had initially planned to do everything myself and just have someone execute my vision on the wedding day. However, a few weeks into planning, I realized having an individual with knowledge of all the vendors, and ensuring no other details were missed was critical. I was living on the east coast and planning a wedding celebration on the west coast, so I needed someone else expertise and personal experiences. I chose Monica because: (1) she was very responsive to emails, (2) was so warm, friendly and personable and (3) was willing to work with my budget. She had worked with every vendor I had chosen (except the ice cream truck). She reviewed every contract before I signed. She save us a lot of money on decor and flowers by using her personal inventory and skills.
The day of the rehearsal dinner she showed up 4.5 hours early to ensure all the setup was completed for the night and for part of the next day. It went without a hitch and she took care of the decor, and communications with catering. The day of the wedding, she arrived earlier than us to set up! She did my flowers, and did an amazing job. My bouquet was lovely and huge! While my family and I got our hair and makeup done, she set up/decorated the welcome tables, beverage stations, reception tables, escort tables and cocktail tables. She was an organized and calm presence, coordinating with photography, ensuring we were on schedule and guiding us for the ceremony. At the reception, she helped DJ mark with seamless transitions in the itinerary and some small modifications. At the end of the night, she waited for the last person to leave the venue and went above and beyond to help us ensure everyone's safety. Overall, Monica is the best coordinator I couldn't have had the perfect day without her. She made the entire planning process fun and smooth. I felt relaxed and confident through the 4 month planning process! I highly recommend her!

Monica did a wonderful job with our wedding! We hired here as our "day-of" coordinator but she did so much more than that. Amidst Covid, she helped me replan our entire wedding, was patient with my constant late-night questions and calmly handled my last-minute change of plans. I am a total control freak and was struggling with the idea of anyone else decorating the venue on the wedding day but Monica did it to my EXACT preference and specifications. It all looked so much more beautiful than I imagined and it was all thanks to Monica's attention to detail and focus. She was literally on her feet all day making sure the event ran smoothly, keeping us on schedule and coordinating with the venues. Monica is completely down-to-earth, organized and very quick with communication. We literally did not have one hiccup throughout the night and that was all thanks to our wonderful coordinator. We hired Monica for day-of coordination of our small Central Coast vineyard wedding. The cost of her service was far more reasonable than other quotes we had received, and from the moment we hired her, she exceeded our expectations. She made herself available to help us throughout all stages of our wedding planning, offering access to her own inventory, as well as providing floral arrangement at no extra cost. When the day of the wedding arrived, Monica had taken our vision (and our many DIY items) and brought them together in a way that took everyone's breath away. In our case, a last minute forecast of rain had us change our venue to an indoor location, but Monica worked with the caterer so seamlessly, no one would know our wedding venue was our "plan B". On top of that, our flowers were so much more beautiful and dreamy than I could have imagined. With the budget I gave Monica I expected to have a few flowers on our tables, alter, etc. - however I was blown away day of with the flower arrangements she made - they were far more beautiful than I could have hoped for! I cannot thank Buonasera Events enough for the dream wedding that they helped us create - it is a day that we will always cherish!

I had planned on hiring Monica for day-of coordination only, but she offered an extremely reasonable price for the full planning and coordination package that I couldn't refuse. From there, Monica took care of absolutely everything. She listened to my very vague ideas about how I wanted the look and feel of the wedding to be. She then came up with solid ideas that reflected her innate ability to understand what I was going for, and improve upon my initial thoughts exponentially.
Monica planned and executed my dream wedding flawlessly. She did everything-- she coordinated food and wine tastings, communicated with vendors, negotiated great prices, set up rental set up and breakdown, etc. There were times when I thought, "Shouldn't I be more stressed out, or doing something wedding related right now?" because she was so on top of it all.
Our wedding was at my husband's family ranch, which meant there was little president for how the event should look, run, what rental companies to use, etc. Monica knew exactly who to work with, how the event should be carried out, and how to set up an experience that ran smoothly, looked stunning. She was highly budget conscious and did much of the decor herself. We ended up coming in under budget because of her thriftiness, and expert negotiation skills.
I highly recommend Monica and Buonasera Events for any of your event planning and coordination needs. She was an absolute dream to work with, and such a wonderful presence to have around during an incredibly special time.

Monica was integral to the success of my wedding and exceeded all of my expectations. During the months leading up to it, she visited the wedding site, constructed a floor plan, contacted my vendors, arranged transportation, searched tirelessly for a bar table to rent, created a timeline for my wedding day, and provided emotional and logistical support. Her professionalism and responsiveness made me feel secure.
The day of the wedding was seamless due to her organization and attention to detail. She was at the site the day before when my vendors arrived to set-up and arrived early the day of to make sure everything was perfect and squared away. Her presence at the wedding was the reason why I could enjoy myself and not worry about timing and communicating with vendors etc. She is patient and down to earth, but knows how to assert herself and give directions (with grace and ease). She is also very attentive and knows exactly when to ask if you need something.
